Severe flooding has wreaked havoc in the south-eastern Volta Region of Ghana, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. The incessant heavy rains have led to rivers overflowing and inundating communities, displacing thousands of residents from their homes. The floods have resulted in damage to critical infrastructure, including roads and bridges, hampering the transportation and communication networks in the region.
