Auditioning for the AMEA HS Regional or All State Band? This is the third of 3 flute etudes for the Regional Audition and the first of 3 etudes for the All State Audition.

A few tips:
* The dynamics in this etude add a lot of personality, be sure to exaggerate them for an exciting performance
* Isolate the technically challenging parts of this etude and be sure to work on them slowly, making sure that your fingers are moving together
* Memorize challenging sections slowly, if you don't need to read each individual note you will be able to play more efficiently
* Try swinging the rhythms when you have uneven fingers, then swing the other way. Isolating the individual notes in this way will help iron everything out when you play it straight again
* Work for powerful and consistent tone on your low Eb's in the second line
* Have fun with this one!
