Whoa, what a metal detecting location this wound up being, yet again! This week we return to the 1847 stone home where I found the 1769 double-struck Hibernia halfpenny so we could hunt more of the untouched part of the yard. Right from the beginning we were finding more early US relics but then some amazing things popped from the ground including multiple coins from the 1800s and even 1700s! Oh man, let's go have some fun at this place!
We also have a special surprise for a lucky viewer that helped us vote on their favorite celebrity born in 1916, the year of the first old coin that was found that day. Thank you to everyone that played along and I think we'll do this again so if you continue to play along it might just behoove you (my fancy word for the day).
