BJP leader and minister of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj of Karnataka KS Eshwarappa on Thursday decided to quit the Cabinet amid allegations of corruption against him. The Congress has alleged that Eshwarappa has a direct link to the suicide of civil contractor, Santosh Patil, who blamed the minister for seeking ‘cut-money’ in a purported suicide note sent via WhatsApp.
However, Congress leaders have demanded Karnataka minister Eshwarappa's arrest.
