 Scrooge, my Pacific Crest Trail hiking buddy, came to eastern Washington to do some hiking. We hooked up with some of my local crew and headed to the Idaho panhandle to tackle the ascent to Stevens Lakes.   the steep trail crosses Boulder fields and climbs to lower Stevens Lake. After traversing around the lake we proceeded to climb to the upper lake where we were greeted by beautiful fall colors and Stevens peak.
