The Met Roof Garden Installation ☀️
The Met has an incredible new installation on its roof by artist Lauren Halsey.
Rooftop admission is included with your ticket to The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Admission is Pay What You Wish for NY State residents and NY, NJ, CT students
This installation is designed to be explored featuring ancient Egyptian symbolism with contemporary elements. Titled ‘the eastside of south central los angeles hieroglyph prototype architecture (I), this full-scale installation is inspired by the energy of South Central Los Angeles, where Halsey lives and works.
Don’t miss the amazing NYC views, seating areas and a roof garden bar + extended hours on Friday & Saturday nights (date night with a rooftop sunset anyone?)
