The Volkswagen Group's Audi brand is preparing to refresh the A6. Similar to the A4-replacing A5, the newcomer will feature a different name. Recently spied testing in sub-zero conditions, the A7 has been confirmed to debut in early 2025 for the 2026 model year.
Pictured in Sweden, the 2026 Audi A7 isn't a ground-up redesign of the outgoing A6. Although the front and rear overhangs are shorter than before, Audi used a development of the A6's platform for the A7 family of models. The carparazzi spotted most family members in one go, beginning with the four-door A7 Sedan and the five-door A7 Avant.
They're joined by the A7 allroad, which is best described as the A7 Avant with more ground clearance and some model-specific exterior garnish. As for the crème de la crème, that would be the RS 7 Avant. Slotted above the performance-oriented S7, the punchiest member packs electrified turbo V8 muscle.
