2 islands in 2 minutes, St Vincent & Canouan, Sailing Caribbean.
So, we arrived to St Vincent. We desided to go to Blue lagoon instead of Kingstown, that I’m really glad we did after a taxi drive trough that town. Not much happening there but storage and cargoships.
But Martin did find us, no now we are three Norwegian vikings sailing around for some weeks. We took a day to chill in St Vincent before we went down to Bequia to spend a couple of days there. And then we sailed down to Canouan. So in this video you’ll see Fort Duvernette again, and this time I did climb all the way to top. The highest point, which I had to really put down my camera and climb to get to. And what a view!!
We did some beers on the beach again, that is one of my fav things to do in daytime when its to hot to do anything useful.
And then you’ll see some clips from Charlstown bay in Canouan. We anchored up outside a little beach with a huge hotel with no guest, so we got the whole beach and all the 14EC$ beers to ourself! Hehe, superexpencive beer, and that does not go well with a cruisers budget! We chilled here for a couple of days, swimming, beaching, eating lobsters on the boat and hunt for sunscreen. Do you know that we went to all the shops on that side of the island, even the hotel, and none had sunscreen? That is crazy!
Canouan is not my favorite island, I have to say, but it has some nice beaches and the super marina over in Glossy bay is gonna be massive! An over the top superyachtmarina, with an awesome beachbar, I must say. I Will show that in a video later on, from one of our earlier trips to this island.
The Grenadines is absolutely one of my favorite places to sail so far, but some islands are cooler that other, thats for sure!
