Rumours and predictions aplenty surround the successor to our popular GH4 and now we’re giving you a sneak peek at the LUMIX DMC-GH5 mirrorless camera ahead of its commercialisation and introduction to the global market in early 2017. We’re developing the GH5 to offer outstanding hybrid performance, with unprecedented photo quality and video recording. The LUMIX GH5 will be capable of recording smooth, high-precision 4K 60p/50p or faithful 4:2:2 10-bit 4K 30p video for the first time in the world. Plus, this exciting camera is set to feature 6K Photo (an advance on 4K Photo), allowing photographers to extract still images of approximately 18-megapixels from ultra high-quality video with approximately nine times the pixel count of Full HD.
