Thuli Madonsela has led a 16-km walk in Stellenbosch to raise funds to help pay off student debt.
The Social Justice Law Trust Chair at Stellenbosch University was joined by students, university alumni, business people, academics and municipal officials.
Participants saw the event, taking place in partnership with Stellenbosch Tourism, as an opportunity to embrace social justice and heal past divisions.
