We're cooking a fruity ginger turmeric syrup – tastes super delicious and is a healthy immune booster.

Ingredients for approx. 1 litre syrup:
- 300g fresh ginger
- 150g fresh turmeric
- 3 stalks lemongrass
- 2 limes
- 400g sugar
- 1l water
Instructions:
1. Peel the ginger, turmeric and limes
2. Cut the ginger, turmeric and lemon grass into pieces and puree with the limes and some water in a mixer.
3. Put the pureed mixture, sugar and water in a pot and simmer for about 1 hour at low heat.
4. Strain through a fine sieve and fill into bottles previously sterilized with hot water.
Served cold with ice cubes and sparkling water or hot as tea. 1 part syrup and 9 parts water – or as desired.
The syrup can be kept in a closed bottle for up to 6 months in the refrigerator.
