I purchased the 2kw version in late September, 2017. As of the time of this writing (late April 2018), this inverter is performing beautifully. Most of the time it powers my routers, wifi nodes, TV's, bluray players, lights, refrigerator, deep freezer, etc. It handles both of my 1000 and 700 watt microwaves no problem. It even handled my washing machine (only device that causes it to surge when the spin cycle comes on). It runs a 560 watt (5k btu) air conditioner unit easily, and even a 12k btu air conditioner. Obviously, I don't run all these large devices (microwaves, washing machine and large AC), but it can handle my full-sized fridge, lighting, routers/wifi, TVs, small deep freezer, small beer fridge, and small AC at the same time.

During the winter I pushed it to the maximum 2kw on many occasions for a few hours at a time using 120v baseboard heaters. So it has suffered its fair share of usage these 7 months. Still going strong, no sign of problems as of yet.

If it continues to be rock solid throughout May and June, then I will pick up a 4kw version and give it a try. I will update my review if anything changes or if I continue to get good results.
