In 2008, A $189 million terminal renovation and expansion project began with the construction of a new terminal, which opened in 2011, featuring a larger baggage claim area, new gates and concessions, and a consolidated security checkpoint.
In 2020, a $200 million terminal expansion project was announced, which will add a new concourse with additional gates, a new parking garage, and new passenger amenities, with the goal of accommodating the airport's capacity by 50%.
