The Next Stage first took you inside the Downtown Reno Partnership's Ambassador program just over a year ago. The Ambassador's are community liaisons. They are their to help residents feel safe. They welcome visitors, they are their to help local business owners. The Ambassadors are also helping the homeless population by connecting them with services. The Downtown Reno Partnership believes that by doing these things they can create a standard that will allow economic development and a new found pride for downtown Reno.

Just over a year and a half into forming The Downtown Reno Partnership, Downtown Reno is beginning to see these efforts pay off. In particular, the efforts made by the Ambassadors. The Next Stage sat down with Alex Stettinski to learn more about the BID's efforts thus far as well as what this means for economic development in downtown Reno.
