Sharon Land Trusts bog bridge on Sharon Mountain Preserve has been replaced by a boardwalk. Volunteers built this 100ft long boardwalk in 15 work days. From start to finish, the project lasted 3 months. 22 volunteers gave 210 hours to finish the project, and staff spent 60 hours. They moved 1.5 tons of milled lumber over half a mile, pried, cut, unscrewed and removed around 1,000lbs of old timber, and hauled in 200lbs of hardware and 300lbs of tools. Thank you volunteers!
