HOPE THIS VIDEO HELPED! Check the comments for a little clarification. The save point farthest from the first save point is where all of the strongest enemies appear but you can only go to the farther parts when your buggy's wheels and other parts are upgraded. If you rush it you you'll only lose, also look for bosses outside of story mode that can be accessed by completing side missions!
