Did some multi-species KAYAK FISHING with the NED RIG. The fish were not biting very well. The water was very low and SUPER clear. There was also a cold front that had moved in over night. It was a cool 50 degrees when we woke up to go kayak fishing. Even with the tough fishing conditions, I was able to catch some fish with the Ned Rig. The Ned Rig is the perfect finesse bait to throw when the fish are tight lipped. I did throw other lures and baits but I was unsuccessful. I did not catch any fish until I tied on the Ned Rig. The Ned Rig is a great multi-species bait. I caught 3 different species on this kayaking trip. Kayak fishing is a great way to access bodies of water that do not get heavily pressured. You can cover a lot of water with a kayak. I plan on kayak fishing this stretch of water again in the future when there is more water. If the fish are not biting well, tie on the Ned Rig and give it a shot. It works!
