Listening to others' problems and offering advice can be tricky. Oftentimes, we want to swoop in and solve everyone's problems. It makes us feel good about ourselves, but what does it do to the other person?

Robs them of the opportunity to learn and grow.

Guide them, be right beside them, but don't steal their problems from them. When the time comes, let go. Wait by the entrance to the cave and let them confront their dragons.
