The latest news coming in from the tri-services press briefing on Agnipath Scheme. Tri-services forces chiefs requested the youth to stop the violence. They also dispelled doubts about the recently launched Agneepath recruitment scheme. "This was a very engaged process at all levels. We've made different tweaks in view of students. Now, this scheme needs to be given its own time," informed Lt General Arun Puri, Additional Secretary, Dept of Military Affairs. 'In next 4-5 yrs, our intake (of soldiers) will be 50,000-60,000 & will increase to 90,000-1 L subsequently. We've started small at 46,000 to analyze scheme...and to build up infra capacity,' he added. Watch to know more in detail!
