Ingmar Bergman’s "Necronomicon" trailer 1956. Bergman’s attempt to unify the Lovecraft mythos into a 90 minute movie concerning the tale of one John Hunter, a World War 1 veteran returning home for his uncle's funeral. The production would prove too herculean a task when he couldn't secure the rights to Lovecraft's IPs. Sets and actors were quickly repurposed for the Seventh Seal a year later. Trailer recently made available with Lovecraft's work falling into public domain.
Imagery was created with Midjourney, then fed into Runway ML Gen-2 to create video. One slight touch up made with D-ID.
