When you get the opportunity to meet the ex US Secretary of State and Climate Convoy for the COP26 talks what do you do? Sing him a folksong! What an utter honour to meet one of the most hardworking climate defenders with the power to do some really serious change making.
This small ballad tells the tale of the Northern Irish lament of the English lords’ cutting down Antrim’s ancient oak forest and the ‘Ornament Tree’ a legendary oak called Bonny Portmore. A song of tree defence from ancient times. So relevant for now! Thank you Senator for listening and the gang for making this happen!
Heard some hopeful words from the source on good things to come out of #COP26. Massive work to be done but the USA is making some bold moves. Godspeed to all there making the necessary changes to bring ecological, racial and social justice (especially to those communities most in need and effected by the climate and ecological emergency.)
