The Calicut Jan Shatabdi Express train is one of the fastest express trains running in Kerala state.The 12076 train covers Trivandrum Central to Calicut in 7 hours which makes it the second fastest train after Trivandrum Rajadhani Express in this route.Also the 12076 train is the fastest train between Trivandrum Central and Shoranur Junction railway section.The Jan Shatabdi express train covers the state capital Trivandrum and commercial hub Ernakulam in 3 hours 15 minutes which makes it the fastest train running in Kerala state covering these two cities.The train is one among the popular commuter trains in Kerala state.
