Pakistan’s army chief General Raheel Sharif has flown to the Afghan capital of Kabul on a surprise visit to discuss ways to combat the Taliban. The visit came a day after the massacre of school children in the Pakistani city of Peshawar. While he visited Afghanistan, hundreds of protesters took part in a march in Karachi against the killings.
