Turn Off the Lights is the most popular browser extension that dims the web page and highlights the video player. Such as on YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion, etc.

A brief introduction about the new feature in Turn Off the Lights browser extension. With the following message:
Did you know you can get an animated dark layer when you do the lights off? Give it a try! To enable this feature in the Turn Off the Lights browser extension, click right on the gray lamp button, and select "Options". Then, in the Turn Off the Lights Options page, you see many options to customize the dark layer. And if you click on this icon, you can show the animated layer called "Dynamic Background". Now, enable the Dynamic Background checkbox. And below you can choose between 10 animated layers. If you want to choose for that dynamic background, click on the button "apply". And on the top, you see a live preview of that animated dark layer. Let choose now to one of my favorite dynamic backgrounds. The stars. And if you open a website, and click on the gray lamp button, now you see the beautiful dynamic background.
