Japanese electronic music producer and Deep Medi Musik artist Takeaki Maruyama a.k.a. Goth-Trad headlined Dubspot's series of workshops and panels on electronic music production and performance at the Together Festival, Boston 2011. Goth talked about his early influences, from Kraftwerk and techno to Warp Records and trip-hop. He also talked about designing his own metallic musical instruments, performing live with the Boss RE-201, the underground dubstep scene in Japan, and much more. Other presenters included experimental electronic music artist Richard Devine and Dubspot Instructors Steve Nalepa and Pat Cupo.
