April 21st, 2022, marks 2 years on YouTube for me! I thought these awesome back-to-back catches would be a great way to celebrate this channel, which I never knew would reach even this far.

This was taken on BNSF's Fallbridge Subdivision in southern-central Washington State, in the city of Stevenson, an all-time favorite railfanning location of mine. This night I was set up on an asphalt pad next to the tracks, which once was a station platform - passenger service ended in Stevenson many, many years ago. Anyways, (after about 2 hours of waiting) I was blown away to see Fakebonnet 737 leading considering they are not exactly preferred to lead trains here. Only 15-20 minutes later, another westbound grain train came, with Heritage 1 C44-9W 1024 leading, maybe my favorite type of BNSF unit! This blew my mind since only a handful of them have been PTC equipped to permit them to lead trains. I was unaware of these units leading a couple trains on the way to where I was.

My theory of to why this happened is maybe the fact I had been seen by BNSF crews trackside in the following couple of days and the yardmaster (or whoever assigns power to trains) in my hometown in Pasco had been notified of my presence, and sent some units he/she knew I'd foam over to lead these two trains. Totally just a theory, maybe it was just a coincidence.
