There are few things more nostalgic to a Southerner than the scent of a Southern Magnolia Tree in bloom. Since the flowers are typically high up in the tree, we can usually smell the blooms before we ever see them. To me, the scent immediately brings back memories of warm temperatures and childhood summers. What does the scent of magnolia blooms bring to mind for you?
