Hey Guys! Welcome to Ivaan's treasure channel.
This vlog is about our weekend one-day trip to seven sisters cliffs, Sussex.
As we went with a kid, I am going to elaborate more to help in case you are carrying a kid with you. We boarded the South Western train from Feltham to Clapham and then boarded London Victoria. You have to buy a rail ticket for this train. Oyster or Debit card doesn't work.
It took nearly 30mins to reach Clapham and then nearly 1.30 Hours to Eastbourne.
After reaching Eastbourne, board Bus A12, the bus station is just outside the rail station ( in less than 5 mins walk). This double-decker will take you to seven sisters.
After reaching seven sisters, we walked nearly 30-35 mins to reach the cliff and beach area. It's more of a pebble beach. We were there for 3-4hours, Ivaan played with seashore pebbles, and relaxed on a bright and sunny day with our Indian snacks and Lunch so yes, we had a little picnic time as well.
Overall, it's a good place to hiking, have family time, or relaxation. We enjoyed it there a lot and hope you will too.
Though we didn't get a chance to go onto the cliff yes it's worth visiting #sevensisters #visitsevensisters #visitsevensisterscliffs
Things to note is - We didn't find any street shops nearby for water or food/chips etc so carry some along with you.
Didn't find any washroom nearby beach or cliff area.
Know More about the place -
Why this place is named as Seven Sisters -
The cliffs are known as the Seven Sisters due to the 7, seven hilltops that make up the silhouette of the cliffs.
Why the side of the cliff is White?
The white colour of the cliff stone is due to the amount of chalk that makes up most of the front of the cliffs and which makes it more attractive.
Below are the name of these 7 Cliffs -
Haven Brow
Short Brow
Rough Brow
Brass Point
Flagstaff Brow
Bailey’s Hill
