The Knowledge Exchange Hubs -- two years in.
Created in 2012, the four #Knowledge Exchange Hubs represent a £16M investment by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) that spans four years. The purpose of the Hubs is to connect excellent research in the arts and humanities with a range of #creative and #cultural organisations to generate new and exciting Knowledge Exchange opportunities.
The Hubs aim to foster #entrepreneurial talent and stimulate #innovation, and contribute to the development of the UK's Creative Economy.
In this film, the AHRC catches up with the four Hubs two-years into their four-year projects. We hear from the Hub Directors who reflect on some of their Hub's most notable achievements to date. From Apps, and digital storytelling to chandeliers; and from canals to beer-by-post -- the Hubs have lived up to their aims and the resulting projects are innovative and exciting.
The four Hubs are:
• The Creative Exchange led by Lancaster University in partnership with the University of Newcastle and the Royal College of Art.
