(1 Jan 2020) Members of the Berlin Seals swimming club met for their New Year's Day tradition and took a plunge into freshwater on Wednesday.
Some came in fancy dress to take a dip in Lake Oranke on the edge of Berlin.
One member believes taking a winter swim has health benefits.
"I find it great to be a little bit crazy, but it is very healthy I have not been sick for many years," she said.
