Jhol Momos
Quick and healthy
For the momos filling -
1/2 cup Chopped Cabbage
1/2 cup Chopped Carrot
1/2 cup Purple Cabbage
1/2 cup Paneer
1 Green Chilli
1 tsp Grated Ginger
4 cloves of garlic
Salt, Pepper
You can also add chilli flakes to this
7-8 Rice Papers
Follow the instructions in the video, make momos and steam for 5-6 minutes or alternatively pan sear ( first let the momos cook on one side. Then add a little water cover and steam for 5 mins
For the Jhol gravy:
Ingredients -
1 tbsp - Soybeans
1 tbsp - Peanuts
2- Kashmiri Dried Red Chillies
1 tsp - White Sesame Seeds
Saute this
Oil 1 tbsp
2 tsp coriander seeds
1 tsp jeera
1 Onions large
1 inch - Ginger
10-12 - Garlic Cloves (peeled)
Coriander steam 5-6
2 - Large juicy Tomatoes
2 tsp - Oil
1/2 tsp - Cumin Seeds
1 tsp - Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
Lemon juice 2-3 tsp
Loads of Water (as required)
Salt (as per taste)
Saute, let it cool down and blend with all the soya seeds, sesame, peanuts and chili
Heat again and do a taste test, add some lemon juice
Do a taste test in the end to adjust seasonings
Dunk in momos and serve with chili oil optional
