Today, we sit down with a seasoned skilled trades professional. Trevor Matthews of RefrigerationMentor.com joins us today to talk with us all about his journey in the trades.

In high school he wasn’t the slightest bit interested in working with his hands. Never even crossed his mind. So he did what many others have done over the years and went to university for business. Once he graduated, he couldn’t find work so he went BACK to school.

It was in the administration office of that return trip that he ended up talking with a young man that was there for refrigeration school. Once Trevor found out how much could be made and where the trade could take him, he was hooked. His career led him all across Canada, to Australia, and back as an HVAC/R professional.

He then made the leap to the office where he landed a job with Copeland. After gaining so much more knowledge on compressors there he left to pursue his passion full time of helping people by starting refrigerationmentor.com
