The state delivered a powerful closing argument on Friday and asserted Carly Gregg is not innocent of the murder of his mother, Ashley Smylie. Prosecutors assert Gregg murdered her mom "with intent to kill" in March 2023. The jury is expected to deliberate on Friday afternoon. Gregg could face up to life behind bars if convicted.
