I brought a LCD HDTV from best buy 18 months ago for $1300, and paid an extra $440 for an extended 4 year service plan should ANYTHING go wrong with the TV. The TV STOPPED working, and the Geek Squad from Best Buy came to my house and said that it was not covered. I would have to pay 800 for a new screen plus the additional labor cost. I did get my money back for the extended service plan
