As the coronavirus spreads around the world at an ever increasing rate, just over a hundred cases have been confirmed in twelve African countries. A small number compared to Europe where Italy alone has currently mor than 12,000 confirmed cases. But there are concerns that a wider outbreak there would overwhelm the already fragile healthcare system. Authorities fear that Africa es espacially vulnerable to an undetected spread of the virus. So how well is Africa prepared to cope with a coronavirus outbreak?
