What started off as a day fishing for Roach turned into a three venue marathon. Visiting three small ponds in hope of getting a few bites.

After the first two venues we finally decided to give it one last try and headed to a small pond not far from home. Surprisingly, a water that had only previously produced small silvers started turning up rather big Rudd and Hybrid Roach/Rudd.

It was the first time in a long while I really enjoyed chasing the small species.
