Israeli settlers entered Al-Aqsa Mosque’s courtyard on Tuesday under the protection of Israeli forces, during the Jewish holiday of Passover.
Al-Aqsa Mosque has been the central location for Israeli provocation of Palestinians after Israeli forces violently assaulted Palestinian worshippers at Al-Aqsa Mosque last week.
On Tuesday the Israeli government announced that visits to Al-Aqsa Mosque by non-Muslims would be banned until the end of Ramadan, which is expected to end on 20 April.
