I went on a day trip to Guatavita from my home in Bogota,Colombia.At 6 am in the morning, we got picked up by the travel agency.After a drive of around 2 hours, we reached 'La Casa Loca'(The Crazy House)...this is an unique tourist attraction where all the artefacts are created in an inverted manner.After taking some amazing photos there, we went to the main attraction of the day which was 'Laguna de Guatavita'(Guatavita Lake).This lake is a sacred lake which was being used by the indegeneous people for their rituals.We had to hike for 2 Kms to reach this beautiful lake.
After exploring the lake, we went to Guatavita town, had lunch there, and explored the small town and the nearby reservoir.
We started our journey backk to Bogota at around 5 pm in the afternoon.
