Today we’re headed to Little Tokyo in downtown Los Angeles, California in search of the best coffee, foods, and cocktails we can find. We’ve visited Little Tokyo several times over the past few years, and we absolutely love coming to this part of town. We always have so much fun when we’re here. The food is always incredible, and the few bars we’ve tried have also been amazing. So we just really wanted to share with you the great experiences we have when we come to Little Tokyo. We started out with boba and milk tea from Tiger Sugar in the Japanese Village Plaza. After getting our caffeine fix, we headed down into the Little Tokyo Mall. Lots of cool shops down there! There are a few shops named Jungle, and they each have different things and themes inside of them. Some are anime, and some are video game themed. Next we headed to a bar called Wolf & Crane. They have a lot of good Japanese Whiskey based drinks on their cocktail menu. The space was really cool as well! Also, it feels more like a local spot rather than a tourist trap. We headed back to Little Tokyo Mall to a shop we noticed earlier in the evening. It was a huge room full of claw machines. There was a lot of noise and lights, and a lot of stimulation. We had fun trying to win prizes, but unfortunately we didn’t get the claw to grab anything for us. After working up a small appetite, we headed to Kura Revolving Sushi Bar. Kura was really interesting. The food was good, but the experience was what’s was really worth it for us. We had sake served to us by a robot! After Kura, we put our names on the list at Daikokuya Little Tokyo and walked a few doors down to Far Bar for one last cocktail before dinner. Really cool ambience, and the drinks were tasty as well. Finally it was time for dinner. We shared ramen and a chashu pork rice bowl. Both were so delicious! We washed our meals down with ice cold Sapporo. This was such a wonderful date night for us, and a much needed night out to remind us of the excitement and wonderful things that exist in Los Angeles!
