Nana Patole, the President of Maharashtra Congress, expressed his criticism towards the Shinde government regarding the reported lathi charge on Warkaris. Patole emphasized that Warkaris are peaceful devotees of Lord Vitthal and such incidents have never occurred with them before. He accused the government of concealing the truth and intimidating the Warkaris to maintain silence. Patole urged President Droupadi Murmu to dismiss the Maharashtra government and protect the welfare of the state.
