To practice various design variations in BLDC Motor for EV application. Hence this study takes of following objectives:
1. Understanding the working of BLDC motor – thorough analysis and correlation of magnetic/electrical parameters with machine structures.
2. Analytic design review – the existing structure is to be designed for a typical rating with the help of design equation.
3. Understanding and exploring the MagNet software.
4. Representing the schematic of the existing commercial structure of BLDC in Magnet software. Performing 2D and 3D time harmonic and transient analysis and cogging torque.
