There are also eight airbags to protect the drive and passengers. The Volt benefits from StabiliTrak Electronic Stability Control as well as traction control. These systems help to keep the Volt on the road and the driver in control no matte the road conditions.
On the outside the Volt looks pretty futuristic. But the shape of the car was specifically designed to cut through the air with the least amount of wind resistance as possible. With a drag coefficient of 0.281; the 2012 Chevrolet Volt has one of the lowest figures among production cars. The lower the better the more sleek the vehicle is.
