Benedicta of Denmark is undoubtedly one of the least known members of the royal family. His role in the Danish royal family has always been in the background, leaving all prominence to his older sister, Queen Margaret of Denmark, and supporting her younger sister Anne-Marie of Greece, especially in her final months as the extinguished husband of nearly sixty years, King Constantine of Greece.
