The Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh Administration on March 1 demolished the properties of Atique Ahmed’s aide Jaffar, reported news agency ANI. The demolition took place in Prayagraj. Over the past few years, properties reportedly worth Rs 1,200 crore belonging to Atique Ahmed have been seized or demolished by the government. Atique’s son, Asad, is one of the main accused involved in Umesh Pal’s shooting.
