The book is split up into four parts, and here is a short summary of those:
Part 1: Gulliver is shipwrecked and wakes up in Lilliput, a land of tiny people.
Part 2: Gulliver travels to Brobdingnag, a land of giants, where he is treated as a curiosity.
Part 3: Gulliver visits Laputa, a flying island, and meets the experimental and intellectual Laputians.
Part 4: Gulliver travels to the land of the Houyhnhnms, where he encounters intelligent horses and brutish, humanoid creatures called Yahoos.
