Matt was kind enough to let me try out his boat. Although a bit small for me at 6' tall it was a fun short sail. Even with hatch completely shut I could navigate and steer fairly easily. I had the sail reefed in about 12 to 15 knots and was getting about 2.5knots up wind and hit 4.3knots off the wind. Matt said he usually counts on 2.5knots vmg upwind in flat water.
