This video is a step by step guide on how to bleed your ATTESA system from completely dry (since I had taken out my subframe for a refresh). Now would also a good time to replace these old ATTESA hoses since they are 30 years old.
The ATTESA system seems really complicated to a lot of people, myself included. But in reality the R32 ATTESA system is pretty archaic by today's standards. It's a hydraulic system that pumps fluid at a variable amount to the transfer case that then provides power to the front wheels.
It's no different than bleeding any other hydraulic system, make sure you have no air in any of the lines - that's pretty much it.
