The One-Day International Conference on ASEAN-GCC Interactions took place on 17 December 2024 in Jakarta, hosted by AMEC. This landmark event brought together experts to discuss key topics including economic cooperation, diplomacy, and cultural ties between the ASEAN and GCC regions.

We were honored by the presence of Mr. Yayan Ganda Hayat Mulyana, representing H.E. Bapak Anis Matta, who delivered an inspiring keynote speech.

One of the event’s milestones was the MoU signing ceremony between AMEC, AsiaWE, the Sekolah Kajian Stratejik dan Global UI, and the Social Science and Political Science Faculty of UMJ (FISIP), witnessed by distinguished guests on stage and in the audience.

The conference was attended by students, esteemed representatives from over 10 embassies in Jakarta, dedicated journalists, and members of the public.
