HS2 is beginning to creep back into the public eye due to the controversial and greatly problematic nature of the project. However, there is still little coverage of the groups and individuals currently dedicating their time and energy to stopping the building of this line.
In my new series TrainStoppers I have spent some time talking to some of these individuals in the hopes of platforming their voices and experiences. The campaign to stop HS2 stands for so much more than disrupting the construction, it demonstrates how many people are enacting the changes that our world so desperately needs in this time and shows how whole communities can be built out of this.
