As a police officer turned entrepreneur, Claudia Gard has been defiant of the confines of society since day one. She brings her revolutionary spirit into technology and innovation, carrying a lesson on gender equality and helping women achieve one of the pillars in the search for happiness. Fighting for her desire of creating a safe space for women, Claudia demonstrates how there are gaps in the tech industry that only women can fill. With a lifelong desire to fight for a better society and break barriers in areas that aren’t usually given to women of colour, she worked as a police officer in Stockholm city for several years. Years later, she realized a gap in the market. We live in a society where individualism is highly valued. But how do we connect? Why is there such a strong sense of loneliness?
Claudia decided to break new barriers and entered the tech scene with a strong ambition to revolutionize friendship match-making: she co-founded GoFrendly, a digital community for women who desire to expand their social circle. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at [ Ссылка ]
